COVID-19 Safety Strategy
I am now fully vaccinated! I am still abiding by the Massage Board's recommendation of continued mask wearing by client and practitioner. I do not want to take a chance with anyone's safety.
1. Mask are required to be worn for the entire treatment by both client and therapist. Even if you have had the vaccine. Gaiters, bandana's and scarves are not acceptable. 2. If you or any member of your household, becomes ill, you should feel free to cancel your appointment. 3. In between appointments, the room will be cleaned with EPA registered disinfectants. 4. Appointments are staggered to allow for adequate disinfection and to prevent overlap. |
5. Option for contact free payments through the scheduling app
6. Use of an EPA registered botanically based disinfectant fogger to clean the air and disinfect soft surfaces. This fogger is free of chlorine and phosphates and does not trigger my asthma. 7. UV HEPA Filter runner below the face cradle that is sized 4x the room size. 8. Use of a warm mist humidifier to reduce the transmission of viruses. 9. All surfaces are disinfected at the beginning of each day. High touch surfaces are disinfected between clients (table, stools, chair, door handles, light switch, etc) |

BodyMind Coaching
If you've been struggling with neck pain, low back pain or headaches and you've tried everything else and received only temporary relief, you probably don't need a new pillow. We quite literally carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We all know we need to set healthy boundaries and say "No" more often, but that's easier said than done. At least for me it was. What would be possible if you had someone to support you in creating more balance in your life.? A life that leaves you feeling energized and excited for the day instead of exhausted before you've even gotten out of bed in the morning?

Add-ons for you massage treatment.
You will be given the option to select one of the following add-ons when booking you massage.
Aromatherapy- enhance your relaxation with your choice of one or a blend of essential oils. These are not diluted in the massage oil, but dropped separately on the skin. This helps the enhance the benefits of the essential oil.
Hot Stones- These are not the traditional stones used in spas that are just laid on your back. These are ceramic stones that are sculpted to be used as tools during the massage. They combine heat and pressure to loosen and relax your muscles.
Stretching- Really tight muscles benefit from being lengthened after they've been massage. We can do a full body stretch or targeted areas. This can be done fully clothed after the massage or as part of the overall massage.
Cupping- Silicon cups are placed over areas of tension and adhesions. The cups will create a negative pressure on your soft tissue to separate the layers of muscle and reduce restrictions.
Kinesio Taping- athletic tape is applied over different muscle groups to help support the body and reduce pain. This is great for the shoulders, midback, low back and knees. This is also great for pregnant and newly postpartum moms to help support the abdominals.

Deep Tissue MassagePressure will be customized to the individual clients preferences. You can request specific areas of focus (neck, shoulders, low back) or a deep, relaxing full body massage. If you want a full body with focused attention on your "trouble spots" consider selecting a 75, 90, or 120 minute. The 90 minute massage is really a game changer. Time enough to really work out your knots and still time to give your feet the attention they deserve.

Prenatal MassageHave you ever wondered why we treat pregnant women like they're made of glass? Growing a baby is hard work and pregnant women deserve a "real" massage not a professional lotion application. I use a set of specialty cushions that allow a pregnant mom to lie facedown very safely and very comfortably. This allows me to work all the areas pregnant moms need it most (upper back, shoulders, low back).

Postpartum MassageGiving birth is hard work. Whether you have an unmedicated vaginal birth, or a planned cesarean your body has been through a lot! In this massage, we will address all of the "normal" aches and pains a new mom has from caring for and feeding a baby. We will also take time to help your body fully recover. I use a specialty set of cushions that will allow the new mom to lie facedown very comfortably. These cushions are especially wonderful for breastfeeding and cesarean moms. This massage is for moms who are 1- 12 weeks postpartum.
